Lighting Control

Lighting your building can be a serious source of energy consumption. Lighting controls can ensure interior and exterior light is available only when necessary, which could not only save money, but extend the life of the lighting components altogether.

Lighting controls can be more than just simple timers. They can be integrated with access control systems to light an area when the first person arrives for the day, or an intrusion detection and video surveillance system to light an entire floor or building during a break-in.

Lighting controls can utilize motion sensors to determine if a room is empty, or light sensors to to determine if a windowed room already has enough sunlight. And they can also adjust brightness either according to a setting, or by local control within the area. Lighting controls can also control exterior utility and landscape lighting. Lighting status, schedules, and other preferences can be shown graphically on a computer and from there, lights can be switched on, off or dimmed with just a click of the mouse!
